I have some great advice for day three–DO NOT go to COSTCO!! I went there to buy a new printer and that errand turned into grabbing a few groceries for the house. As I passed by the samples it was all I could do just to contain myself and not take the entire tray of food! Not to mention walking past the bakery with the smell of fresh baked cookies in the air! I am proud to say that I prevailed and made it through. I’m glad Doug came with me because I had him drive my car home while I dozed off a small headache and suffered with some hunger pains.
I have learned that if I’m going to be gone for more than an hour I should definitely bring some lemonade with me. It would have helped a lot:). I made it through dinner with the family and this time even helped with some of the prep work. My hunger pains are pretty intense but pass after fifteen minutes or so. My hope is that tomorrow my hunger will be gone. Everything I’ve read says that the hunger does leave after three days.
I do have some very exciting news. Last night was the first night I have slept through without waking in a full blown allergy attack! Is this a fluke? I certainly hope not. I was also down three more pounds when I weighed this morning. Yeah! I hope my progress inspires your journey to cleanse and gives you courage to take the plunge. I can honestly say if it is true the first three days are the hardest that it is definitely not that hard. Believe me, I’m a big wimp when it comes to pain:).
