Let’s talk about skin for a minute. Skin is our bodies largest organ and being as such it absorbs everything we put on it. Furthermore during this cleanse toxins are eliminated through our skins poores too. It makes sense that while on the Lemonade Diet we should use a good loofa to help remove daily toxin build up.
I suggest buying a loofah that is all natural and not synthetic. You may also want to buy a body brush and brush excess skin off your body each day before you bathe or shower. An all natural sea sponge is a great choice too.
Moreover, I feel it important from here on out to be careful as to what I moisturize my skin with. No more Victoria Secret heavily perfumed sparkly lotion : ). I have found that pure coconut oil works amazing on my legs, feet, and elbows for a natural option. Coconut oil even looks like a cream–and melts right into the skin. A little goes a long way so one jar will last a long time. Let your legs completely absorb the oil before putting on your pants…we dont want to oil up our jeans!
If I haven’t said before it is advised on this diet to shower every day to remove toxins or bathe for 20 minutes per day. It feels so good!!
