Thanksgiving Clothespin Place Holders

Who gets tickled pink thinking of new ways to use wooden clothespins? Well that would be me…Just last week I used tons of them to organize my ribbons. While I was doing that project I thought how cute they would be to make place holders for my Thanksgiving table! Any excuse to buy more of these wooden babies…

I bought my clothespins at the Dollar Tree. The transformation was simple. I took some wood stain, painted it on, then after a few minutes wiped it off with a rag. If you don’t have any you can water down paint and put a wash over them for the same effect.

While they are drying take a sharpie marker and write the names of your dinner party on a leaf. I bought a huge bag at the Dollar Tree.

Next layer two more leaves and secure with low temp hot glue.

Clip each persons leaf on and stand up by your place setting. So easy and so much fun!

I made enough for all of my family. I can’t wait to use them!
