Holiday Snack Mix Recipe with Chex & Cheerios

Every Christmas I make this delicious holiday snack mix. The recipe was given to me by a sweet friend and neighbor when I lived in Washington. What Natalie may not know is that this recipe has become one of our adopted family traditions–so if you are reading this post THANK YOU and I hope you don’t mind that I am sharing this deliciousness!

This goodie is easy peasy to make, however, tastes oh so good. It will not disappoint. Put in Christmas jars and give to neighbors or co-workers, tie with a bow, and it will be a well-received treat. In fact, it is my favorite homemade holiday gift to give.

Mix together in Large Bowl:

7 cups Corn Chex Mix

3 cups Cheerios

3-4 handfuls of Pretzels

16 oz M & M’s

In separate microwave safe bowl combine:

24 oz white chocolate chips

3 Tablespoons vegetable oil

In 30 second increments melt chocolate chips and oil, stirring between cycles until completely melted and the consistency of sweet and condensed milk.

Pour over top cereals, M & M’s and pretzels

Stir together and spread onto Parchment Paper

Let Cool, break apart, fill jars & ENJOY

This year I purchased these adorable snowflake glass jars and cute tags HERE. I used red and green plaid ribbon to decorate them. Simple was the theme this year. Doug will take them to work and hand them out tomorrow. I’m so excited for him to share one of our favorite goodies!

The links below are for your convenience, I love to order on line, especially using Prime. It makes my busy life a lot easier.

Happy Holidays!
